So I had my first breakup on Tuesday.

I see now what all the fuss is about - I don't think I've had a more straight up painful day, ever. 

But I've felt progressively better over the last few days, which is good. I just realised I'd totally forgotten to listen to the Smiths (yes,yes, I know, shame on me), so I'm currently listening to "I Know It's Over" and enjoying that trademark pure Morrissey misery. 

It's kind of nice, actually. I haven't been able to listen to that song since feeling depressed and lonely in high school - six or so years ago. I have a new, different appreciation for it now.
